I placed a service call to have them check out my leaking water heater. So 24 hrs later still no call back. I called them and all I got was the run around. There favorite line is we have no one in your area. This is the second time I have had a MAJOR problem with this company. Still waiting for a call back. So tomorrow I will be on the phone again. It's a constant flow of excuses. We've had 7 repair men try to "fix" a 15 year old beat up dishwasher and spending at least $700 to try and fix. Finally got a new one "offered" and it was one that would NEVER work (not panel ready). So "rejected" and it took another 3 weeks to get the correct model and now it sits in our garage. I have a recurring problems with our dishwasher. It is hard trying to get in touch with this company specially when they realize they have to replace the unit. I have been trying to get in touch with them to no avail. They only have 2 contractors they work with in the Bay Area which makes dealing with the issue a lot more complicated. On Dec. 30th, I filed a claim for our microwave that had stopped working on Christmas Day. They did assign a contractor who came out within a few days and he determined it couldn't be fixed. Made several warranty calls that should have been covered. Once subcontractor arrives they have to call First American and give model name and #'s, etc.. Was denied repair due to various "conditions," which is just an excuse in my mind. Don't waste your time or your money on purchasing a warranty. Fortunately our sellers paid for ours, but that doesn't cover the multiple out of pocket $60... Read more

They and their contractors are careless and both are very unprofessional No follow up with the customers, every occasion it takes more than a month to resolve a complaint. I was told that I had to give a 60 day notice. Yet First America Home Buyers Protection is taking $59.00 out of my account and I am charged for a service call of $60.00 at time of service. They have known that my A/C unit has been going out for over a year and Frist American choses to continue to bandage the problem. Affective as of January 27, 2016. Two months and four repair visits and my dishwasher is still not working...waiting for Nother part so I can take another day off from work...will it be fixed? Probably not. At what point will they replace it? No idea because they won't call me back. Add comment

No resolution. Everyone lies and tells you they will call you back. No one ever does. We have been without heat in part of our house for about three months. I have called, asked, pleaded, cried, been angry and nothing. I'd love to be reimbursed for my time on this...hours and hours on the phone talking to people only to be transferred and hung up on.
