Worst worst worst company. They do not care. I got hung up on many times & got told that in 104 degree heat in AZ they don't need to fix my AC right away even though I have a 2year old. When I asked to talk with a manager I got put on hold for 20 mins then hung up on. When I called back I got hung up on. Worste customer service ever. I asked to have a contractor changed bc last summer it took this same contractor a month and a half to fix my AC in the dead heat of Houston summer. My hardwoods started to whelp and mold in my walls from sitting for so long in 100+ degrees and houston humidity. I finally got my AC fixed, or so I thought. First American Home Warranty Services has failed to respond to a claim that was issued months ago. The repairs are at a stalemate because the company requested we take a cash out payment of $250.00 for repairs their contractor states will cost $3500.00. they sent a company to my house to fix my heat in Dec.. well they came back Feb. Mar. May , June .July and again in Aug. it took 8 months to fix. it would work for 4 to 6 weeks and I would have to call again.. What a joke! First American does everything in their power NOT to replace appliances. We've had First American out three times (in 6 months) to fix our microwave. Each time the tech tries a new fix and it works for a few weeks and then it breaks again. 10 days ago our A/C went out and we filed a claim. First American does not honor the contract and tried to find a loophole so as not to be responsible for repairs of my covered items. First American supplied a contractor to repair my ceiling fan/light in 2015. This contractor changed the light switch to a remote system which he hung where the light switch used to be. We had a nice KitchenAid dishwasher that went bad. They replaced it with a GE That was supposed to be comprable. After a couple of weeks and a visit from the GE repairman we found out that the dishwasher does not have a dryer in it. Now I have to take the dishes out of the dishwasher and dry them with a hand towel. First American Home Warranty said that because we accepted it online before we saw it we don't have to eat it. Long story short. Have been trying to fix my electrical range for almost 3 months. First American has send me a contractor who has no idea what they are doing. There have been record highs and my request is nearing the 90 day mark after their provider informed them that my system needed to be replaced. Many of my calls have gone unanswered and requests to speak with a supervisor end with a disconnection. This is the worst a service I have ever gotten anywhere. Read more

I am a senior with a respiratory condition requiring oxygen 24/7. Our unit went out on 8/18 and a technician arrived at 4:00 pm on Mon. 8/22. He diagnosed the problem as a compressor shorted to ground or what is commonly referred to in the industry as a burn out.
